Thursday will start off mainly fine although there will be increased cloud at intervals on the west and north coasts. Clouds that develop later in the day are expected to lead to scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains, inland and in some areas in the east at midday and in the afternoon. Thunderstorms will be accompanied by hail.
Temperatures will be 21 C inland, the south and east coasts, around 20 C in the west and north coasts and around 12 C in the mountains.
Tonight will be partly cloudy in some areas and isolated showers are forecast on the west and north coasts. Thunderstorms are possible. Temperatures will fall to 9 C inland, around 10 C on the south and east coasts, around 12 C on west and north coasts and 2 C in the mountains.
Friday and Saturday will be partly cloudy and scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are forecast, up until late in the afternoon. Thunderstorms may be accompanied by hail.
Sunday will be mainly fine though clouds will develop at midday and in the afternoon which may lead to some scattered showers or thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains and in the south.
Temperatures will edge down on Friday, remaining unchanged over the weekend, a little below average for the time of year.
