High pressure continues to affect the area with fine weather today and most of the weekend, but rain and lower temperatures are forecast from Sunday night.
In its early morning weather forecast, the Met Office said Friday will be mainly fine with temperatures rising to 23 C inland, around 21 C on the coast and 18 C in the mountains.
Tonight will be mainly fine and temperatures will fall to 6 C inland and in the mountains and around 10 C on the coast.
Saturday will be mainly fine, whereas on Sunday the weather will be be partly cloudy and light scattered showers are possible late on Sunday night.
Monday will be mainly cloudy with scattered rain and isolated thunderstorms.
Temperatures will be edge down gradually but will remain above average for the time of year.
