Seasonal low pressure is affecting the area.
Monday will star off mainly fine, but increased cloud will develop in the afternoon which may lead to isolated showers and/or thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains and in some areas inland.
Temperatures will be 35 C inland, around 30 C on the west coast, around 32 C on the remaining coasts and 27 C in the mountains.
Tonight will be mainly fine but there may be patchy fog or low cloud in the early hours of Tuesday. Temperatures tonight will fall to 22 C inland and on the coasts, and 16 C in the mountains.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be mainly fine.
Thursday will start off fine but clouds that develop in the afternoon may lead to isolated showers or thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains.
Temperatures will edge up on Tuesday and Wednesday, dropping slightly on Thursday to close to average for the time of year.
