Weak high pressure will continue to affect the area until Thursday while there will be dust in the atmosphere until midday on Friday, the met office said in its early morning weather bulletin on Tuesday.
Tuesday will be mainly fine with increased cloud at intervals. Temperatures will be rise to 31 C inland, around 28 C on the southeast and east coasts, around 25 C on the remaining coasts and 21 C in the mountains.
Tonight will be mainly fine. Temperatures will fall to 14 C inland and on the coasts and around 10 C in the mountains.
Wednesday will start off fine, but increased cloud will form later that may lead to light local showers.
On Thursday increased cloud are forecast to lead to local, mainly light showers.
There will be no significant change in temperatures which will remain above average for the time of year.
Friday will be mainly fine but increased cloud locally will lead to isolated showers or thunderstorms.
Temperatures will drop to average for the time of year.
