Two pedestrians in Limassol were taken to hospital on Tuesday evening after being hit by a car driven by 46-year-old woman.
The couple, aged 66 and 70, were trying to cross the street near their house when they got run over.
The 70-year-old man suffered head injuries and in serious condition in hospital while his 66-year-old wife suffered a fractured knee.
The driver of the car is also in hospital after suffering a shock following the accident.
Investigations into the circumstances of the nee road accident are ongoing by Limassol Traffic Police.
