A 70-year-old and a 61-year-old were arrested yesterday by members of the Drug Law Enforcement Unit (YKAN) for a drug-related case.
Specifically, as part of data collection and evaluation, members of the YKAN (Amochostos Unit) conducted a search based on a judicial warrant at the residence of the 70-year-old in the district of Amochostos.
The 61-year-old spouse was also found inside the house, and during the search, a quantity of cannabis weighing approximately 415 grams was found in glass bottles and nylon bags, along with a used smoking pipe, a grinding mill with traces of plant material, a medical syringe containing 1ml of cannabis oil, and a precision scale.
The 70-year-old and the 61-year-old were arrested for the offenses on the spot and placed in custody, while the YKAN (Amochostos Unit) continues its investigations.
