Two Ukrainian women visiting Cyprus suffered a home invasion and armed robbery early afternoon yesterday at their Paphos holiday accommodation, as reported by police this morning.
According to the local CID, the incident occurred around two in the afternoon when two men broke into the apartment of the 24 and 30 year old women.
The terrified tourists were threatened with pistols, with the perpetrators demanding cash and getting away on foot with almost two thousand euro, 1600 from the 24 year old. Police have issued arrest warrants against the two men, following a description provided by the victims.
The Paphos CID is investigating a case of armed robbery and illegal possession of firearms.
