Three individuals aged 32, 46, and 50 were handcuffed as part of an investigation into a case involving conspiracy to commit crime, extortion, money demand with threats of theft, and attempted property destruction with explosives, which occurred on 30/04/2024 at a residence in Larnaca province.
The three suspects were arrested on Tuesday night with judicial arrest warrants, and they are expected to appear before the Larnaca Court within the day for the issuance of their detention order.
The trio is implicated in the grenade attack that occurred in the courtyard of a house in Menou. The explosion caused damage to the property, although no injuries were reported.
According to reports, the three individuals were identified as the ones threatening the homeowners from whom they demanded money.
