The first cruise ship carrying foreign nationals leaving the war zone of Israel is at the port of Larnaca.
It is a cruise ship that arrived with about 1,300 passengers from the port of Haifa and was scheduled to cruise to Larnaca. About 300 of the passengers are foreign nationals and will disembark in order to return to their countries by air via the city’s airport.
The ship is also expected to carry 150 people who wish to return to Israel, most of whom arrived from other countries. Drastic security measures have been taken at the port of Larnaca.
Meanwhile, the port of Limassol is also on standby as there is a plan to remove thousands of Israeli and foreign nationals by sea to Cyprus.
