The Union of Academic Staff of Cyprus University of Technology (SAP-TEPAK) and the Student Union of TEPAK (FETEPAK) have announced a protest for today, Friday.
According to a relevant announcement, the protest will take place at 13:30 in the courtyard of the Cyprus University of Technology Rectorate building, aiming to “communicate to all directions the determination to defend Public Higher Education.”
“We stand by the Rectorate Authorities and demonstrate our readiness for collective action. Budget cuts to Public Universities aim to shrink them,” they state in their joint announcement.
