President of the Republic, Nicos Christodoulides, has arrived in Dubai to participate in the United Nations Climate Summit.
During the Summit, President Christodoulides will address the rapid impacts of climate change on Cyprus and the wider Eastern Mediterranean region—a region expected to be significantly affected.
Additionally, he will outline the steps for implementing the regional action plan to tackle climate change in the area, as part of the Cypriot initiative presented at last year’s Summit.
President Christodoulides is scheduled to meet with the President of the United Arab Emirates during his stay in Dubai. He accompanied by the Ministers of Energy, Health, and Education, along with high-ranking officials.
