The President of the Nicos Christodoulides, paid an unscheduled visit to the area of Agios Dometios, near the “House of Maria”.
According to information, the President was informed about the progress of the implementation of the measures announced by the Government a few days ago in connection with the incident of the installation of a metal mast on which a rotating camera and a lifting device were placed. At the same time, the President also held talks with residents.
It will be recalled that the Cyprus Police, following the incident on the Green Line last Monday, has arranged to increase patrols in a specific area of the outlying suburb of Nicosia.
It should be noted that the President was accompanied by the Chief of the National Guard, the head of the Central Intelligence Service, and the Mayor of Agios Dometios.
