Recently, there has been a surge in attempts to deceive people by sending messages to mobile phones.
In light of this new form of fraud, the Police once again urge citizens to be particularly vigilant and not to respond or engage with such messages, as they are scams.
Below is a sample of the relevant messages sent by the scammers.
