In the context of investigating a fatal road collision involving a 17-year-old from Nicosia, which occurred on 8th April 2024 on the Nicosia-Palaichori road, examinations revealed a possible involvement of a third vehicle.
According to the Police, during the accident scene investigations, a part of a third vehicle was identified, of the Nissan brand. The Police remind that in the fatal accident, the involved vehicles were a fuel tanker and a private saloon car.
Further examinations that followed indicated that the part belongs to a car of the NISSAN brand, model TIIDA, of Japanese make, and it fits cars manufactured from 2004 to 2012.
Based on the examinations conducted so far, it is not ruled out that a NISSAN car, model TIIDA, might be involved in the accident, which may have sustained damage in other areas as well.
In the course of investigating the fatal road collision, the Police reiterates its call for anyone who might know anything about the circumstances of the collision to contact Nicosia Traffic Police at the numbers 22802023/ 22802086/22802075 or the Citizen’s Line 1460.
