The issue of damages to thousands of medicines in the warehouses of the Ministry of Health is being brought to the Health Committee of Parliament.
In a statement, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Efthimios Diplaros, said:
“We consider today’s article in Phileleftheros regarding the damage suffered by thousands of pharmaceutical products due to floods in the Ministry of Health’s warehouses as extremely serious and requiring further investigation and information.
In this context, I have requested that the Health Committee be informed, and for this purpose, at tomorrow’s committee meeting at 11:30, the Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Elena Panagiotopoulou, and the Head of the Directorate of Drug Procurement, Christos Nicolaou, will attend.”
