Member of Parliament Irene Charalambides said she will submit a bill to the Plenary of the Parliament next Thursday to address the issue of the separation of powers of the Attorney General.

Charalambides mentioned that “it is time to open the discussion on a specific bill for the amendment of the Constitution, to clarify everyone’s intentions.”

It is noted that immediately after, MP Alexandra Attalides also made a statement supporting the proposed bill.
