The Paphos Winter Swimmers will uphold their Easter tradition with aquatic games planned for the two-day holiday period at the Kato Paphos Municipal Baths.
Despite initial rain in the region, the event, known for its success in recent years, is expected to proceed.
Swimmers will partake in water-based activities like egg-and-spoon races, free-diving competitions, and bobbing for apples. Traditional land-based games like sack races, ‘ziziros’ (a Cypriot stick-and-ball game), and rope games will also feature.
The association plans to offer attendees ‘flaounes’ (traditional Cypriot cheese pies) and Easter eggs during the festivities.
