No Cypriots have been reported so far among the victims and the wounded from the terrorist attack at the concert venue in a Moscow suburb, Theodoros Gotsis, spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, told Cyprus News Agency. The Embassy of Cyprus in Moscow is in contact with the relevant Russian authorities, he added.
It was noted that on March 8, the Embassy of Cyprus in Moscow had posted a message on the X platform stating that due to media information about the risk of terrorist attacks at places of mass gatherings in Moscow, it called on Cypriot citizens in the Russian capital to avoid crowded places and places of gatherings and to follow relevant announcements by the Russian authorities.
