This morning, the Police conducted new searches in the cells of two inmates at the Central Prisons.
According to information, a mobile phone was located and seized in one of the cells.
These are the cells of the same individuals that were searched some time ago as part of the Police investigations to unravel criminal attacks against two public prosecutors in Paphos.
The police searches were targeted, lasted only 20 minutes, and none of the inmates reacted.
The mobile phone will be forwarded for examination to determine its relevance to any case.
