Police are investigating a case of murder after a 55-year-old man was gunned down on Monday morning in Germasogeia beach area.
According to philenews, the man arrived at around 8 a.m. at the area, when he was shot down by two men inside a passing car.
Bystanders said that the man was murdered while trying to park his car. They reported seeing another vehicle stopping next to the man’s car and two men in hoods exiting it before opening fire at the victim.
The suspects then fled the scene and drove to Ayia Fyla, where they torched their vehicle and weapons – a pistol and an automatic rifle – in an empty field.
Police are investigating testimonies by witnesses.
