A 61-year-old pedestrian was killed in a road collision in Kokkinotrimithia last night, police said Monday.
Polykarpos Michael, a Kokkinotrimithia resident, was struck by a vehicle driven by a 45-year-old man on Grigoris Afxentiou Avenue.
He was pronounced dead at Nicosia General Hospital.
The driver was initially arrested and released after questioning.
The Nicosia Traffic Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
