Overnight works will be carried out tonight, Monday, 26th February, until tomorrow morning on the bypass road of Limassol, with the Police advising drivers to be cautious on the road.
According to a statement from the Department of Public Works, the works on the Limassol bypass road will take place from 10:00 PM tonight until 5:00 AM tomorrow, Tuesday, 27th February, between the roundabouts of Agia Fyla and Mesa Yitonia. The works will involve the replacement of overhead informational signs.
During the works, the section of the bypass road between the roundabouts of Agia Fyla and Mesa Yitonia, heading towards Nicosia, will be closed, and traffic will be diverted through the roundabout of Agia Fyla, the streets of Agia Fylaxeos, Spyrou Kyprianou, and Archbishop Makarios III Avenue, and the roundabout of Mesa Yitonia.
The Police advise drivers to be cautious, to drive at a safe, low speed, to maintain a safe distance from preceding vehicles, and to comply with temporary road signs in the areas of roadworks.
