A fire broke out in the Natural Forest Park of the Pedagogical Academy in Aglantzia on Monday morning.
Forestry Department personnel responded swiftly and brought the fire under control within 20 minutes, by 11:20 am. The blaze only burned a small area of dry grass.
Seven Forestry Department members with one fire engine and two Fire Service members with another engine worked to extinguish the flames.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
