The family of an 8-year-old girl from Kaisariani has filed a complaint for medical negligence after she passed away while being treated for health issues at Makarios Hospital.
Speaking to Alpha, the Police spokesperson, Christos Andreou, stated that “the mother of the child has submitted a written statement alleging that her daughter’s death may have resulted from acts or omissions by the medical staff.”
At present, the Police are investigating these allegations. An autopsy will also be conducted to determine the exact cause of the 8-year-old’s death.
