The Member of Parliament and Vice President of DIKO, Chrysanthos Savvidis, sent a letter to the Director-General of the Cyprus Sports Organization (KOA), Mary Charalambous-Papamiltiadou, regarding the issue of leasing the Stelios Kyriakides Stadium in Paphos and the Makario Stadium in Nicosia to foreign investors.
In the letter, Mr. Savvidis asks the Director-General of the organization to inform him whether KOA has taken any actions for the announcement of a public tender for the lease of these stadiums to foreign investors.
The issue had been discussed in the Central Education Committee last month, notes Chrysanthos Savvidis, and KOA had stated that it would provide relevant information by the beginning of February 2024.
