Monday is expected to be a fine day but increased cloud coverage at times is expected in the afternoon, according to the island’s Met Service. Also, isolated showers and or thunderstorms are expected in the mountains and in some coastal areas.
Initially, the winds will blow predominantly from the northwest. These breezes will be of moderate intensity, reaching Force 4 on the Beaufort scale. As the day unfolds, expect a gradual shift to mainly southwest to northwest winds, remaining moderate at Force 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slight to moderate.
Temperatures will be around 29 C in inland areas, 28 C in western and northern coasts, 31 C in southern coasts, and 30 C in eastern coastal areas, hovering around 20 C in the higher mountains.
