Local showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected today, Sunday, according to the island’s Met Service.
Initially, the winds will blow predominantly from the southwest. These breezes will be of high intensity, reaching Force 6-7 on the Beaufort scale. As the day unfolds, expect a gradual shift to mainly western winds, decreasing to Force 5 Beaufort. The sea will be moderate to rough.
Temperatures will be around 22 C in inland areas, western and northern coasts, hovering about 23 degrees along the southern and eastern coasts, and 11 C in the higher mountains.
