Today, Wednesday 1st of May, will be a fine day but with increased cloud coverage at times and isolated showers in the afternoon, according to the Met Service.
Initially, the winds will blow predominantly from the southwest. These breezes will be of low intensity, reaching Force 3 on the Beaufort scale. As the day unfolds, expect a gradual increase of the winds to Force 4 Beaufort. The sea will be smooth to slight.
Temperatures will be around 30 C in inland areas, 25 C in western and northern coastal areas, around 27 C in southern and eastern coasts, and hovering about 20 C in the higher mountains.
