The Cabinet approved the establishment of the “e-consultations” public consultation platform and its regulatory framework, announced the Minister of Finance.
The platform will serve as a centralized venue for all public consultations conducted by the civil service and broader public sector.
Its creation aims to enhance the regulatory framework, and thus improve the rule of law, transparency, and greater public participation in everyday matters such as legislation and action plans developed by ministries.
The Minister highlighted that the platform is ready for use, and trained personnel will manage it to facilitate participation and transparency in the development and implementation of laws and action plans by the government and various ministries.
