In a new post on Social Media, the acting abbot of the Holy Monastery of Saint Habakkuk, Archimandrite Nektarios Georgiou, made a statement.
Specifically, the Archimandrite posted an icon of the Virgin Mary and wrote, “Many times you don’t need to say anything at all. She is a mother and understands.”
It is reminded that the two archimandrites, Nektarios and Porphyrios, involved in the ecclesiastical scandal, were notified to appear before the Investigative Committee of the Holy Synod on Monday, May 13.
According to a previous report by Phileleftheros, the two archimandrites are expected to appear before the Committee this time and possibly provide their positions on the events in writing and answer any questions from the members.
