Everything that is happening with the case of the Monastery of Saint Habakkuk is within the Statute of the Church and is all legal, Archbishop Georgios, the Archbishop of Cyprus, said today, noting that the trial will be conducted normally.
Archbishop Georgios was invited by journalists on the sidelines of the opening of the “Nikos Mouyaris” amphitheater of the Athienou School Board to comment on the developments concerning the case of the Monastery of Saint Habakkuk.
What is happening with the case of the Monastery of Saint Habakkuk, he added, “is within the Statute of the Church and is all legal”.
“The trial will be conducted properly,” Archbishop Georgios concluded.
