A 79-year-old convict of the Central Prisons who was hospitalized at Nicosia General Hospital has passed away.
This individual had been sentenced to 15 years in prison for the murder of his son in a village in Limassol (2015) with a hunting rifle.
The 79-year-old was admitted to the public hospital of the capital on 24/04/2024, as he was facing very serious health problems.
The Prison Department, in its statement, expressed sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.
