Paphos Police arrested a 29-year-old individual on Wednesday to facilitate investigations into a case involving damage to the windows of the Paphos District Court last week.
According to Assistant Police Director of Paphos Operations, Michalis Nikolaou, a judicial arrest warrant against a 29-year-old permanent resident of Paphos was obtained on Friday regarding the malicious damage to the Paphos Courthouse.
The arrest took place at 22:45 on Wednesday.
Mr. Nikolaou informed the Cyprus News Agency (CNA) that this individual had been charged last week with causing damages to three other government buildings: the Welfare Office, the Citizen Service Center, and the District Labour Office in Paphos.
Based on the investigations conducted by the Paphos Police, the 29-year-old is implicated in the recent case of malicious damage as well.
