Limassol police seeking hit and run driver

Limassol police are looking for the driver of a dark saloon car which hit a pedestrian on Kolonaki street and abandoned the scene of the accident at around 8 pm on Tuesday.

The Cyprus News Agency said traffic police were questioning witnesses and examining CCTV footage from the area.

Police said the pedestrian was hit by the car as he was crossing the street. He was seriously injured, sustaining fractures and head injuries and taken to Limassol Hospital by ambulance where he is reported to be out of danger.
