Limassol: Home burgled, valuables worth €60,000 stolen

 

Burglars broke into the home of a Russian national yesterday and stole jewellery and other valuables worth more than €60,000, philenews reports.

It said the 41 year old man had contacted police at 7.30 pm to say that his house had been burgled earlier in the afternoon with thieves making off with jewellery and diamonds worth €60,000, a computer worth €1,300, an exercise watch worth €200, a pair of women’s shoes and 20 small bottles of perfume.

Officers from Limassol CID went to the house and determined that the burglary was carried out between 4.30 pm and 7.00 pm.

Investigations continue.
