Limassol: Burglars steal jewellery, cash

Burglars have made off with jewellery worth €50,000 as well as €1000 in cash  from an apartment in Moutayiaka, Limassol, philenews reports.

It said that the owner of the house, a Lebanese national who is a permanent resident of Cyprus, told police that his home had been broken into between 5.30 pm and 8.30 pm on Thursday.

The valuables were taken from a safe which was in the cupboard.

Police are investigating.
