The Greek government has given Cyprus’ leading developers Leptos Group the green light for the construction of Costa Nopia integrated resort in Chania, Crete.
Under the signature of Cretan Sun and Sea Developments A.E., Costa Nopia covers an area of around 65 hectares and is situated at Kissamos Bay.
The grand development has just been approved by Greece’s Ministerial Committee on Strategic Investments, according to Greek press reports.
Costa Nopia enjoys 1,300 meters of sea front, sea views for all villas and units, a 5-star luxury hotel and spa that will include 20 treatment rooms, relaxation areas, hydrotherapy baths, saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools and health and fitness areas.
The project will also have a sports centre with a tennis academy, a lounge, state of the art fitness facilities, games rooms a children’s activity club, a pitch and putt golf course, a bowling hall, and other indoor and outdoor facilities.
The project, which has been part of the portfolio of Leptos Group for some time, received the Certificate of Compliance under Section 24 of the PERPO Act in 2017. This marked a step only before the submittance of the project’s town planning report.
Leptos Group owns properties in 11 other areas of Chania.
