Larnaca: Woman arrested for drunk driving, assaulting police officers

A 39 year old woman who was involved in a collision while driving under the influence of alcohol was arrested by Larnaca police. There were no injuries.

The incident took place on Saturday night. Police arrived on the scene and found the woman to be intoxicated. When they tried to arrest her, she assaulted them but they were able to restrain her.

She was arrested for resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer and refusing to undergo a breathalyser.

The woman was charged and released.
