A revamp of Larnaca Municipal Gardens will be completed on schedule, that is at the end of January 2019, the contractor has assured Mayor Andreas Vyras.
The municipality said that the mayor and officials recently visited the gardens to see how work was progressing. The revamp includes pavements, squares, the planting of trees, lighting, access for the disabled, a cafeteria and toilets.
The aim is to upgrade the centre of town and offer residents a better quality of life. The project is being co-financed by the EU’s Regional Development Fund.
