Cypriot students who qualify for repatriation under new criteria adopted by the Council of Ministers yesterday are being asked to send copies of their student ID and other documentation to the Foreign Ministry.
Yesterday, cabinet moved to slightly ease repatriation criteria, adding four more categories — including first year and foundation year students living in student halls — to those eligible to return.
They must send the following to [email protected]
- Student ID
- Letter or invoice or confirmation that they are registered for a foundation course or in the first year of undergraduate studies for the current academic year that must show the name of the candidate
- Letter or invoice or confirmation that they living in university halls of residence this academic year
Submitting false information is a criminal offence, the Foreign Ministry said.
