List of Cyprus hotels in subsidised holidays plan announced

Relevant News

The Ministry of Labour launched the 2024 subsidised holiday scheme for Employees.

The programme aims to support employees and their families by offering discounted getaways in mountain resorts and the Pyrgos Tyllirias area.

Who can participate?

Employees who received leave benefits from the social insurance fund in 2023 and haven’t participated in the scheme before are eligible, along with their spouses and children under 18.

Employees residing outside mountain resorts can apply for stays there, while anyone (except those already living in coastal areas) can apply for hotels in the Pyrgos Tyllirias area.

Programme details

The scheme runs from July 14 to September 27, 2024. Applications open on June 14 and can be submitted electronically via email or the programme website.

Participants can enjoy a subsidised stay of up to five nights (Sunday to Friday) with full board included. The subsidy covers a maximum of €50 per person per day, not exceeding the actual accommodation cost.

Priority will be given to applications submitted earlier, with participants also having the chance to express their hotel preferences. The programme operates until the allocated budget runs out.

The scheme utilises hotels in mountain resorts and the Tylliria Tower area, contributing to their off-season tourism and economic activity.
