In recent years, Black Friday has been established in Cyprus, offering the opportunity to consumers to purchase quality products at low prices and to businessmen to increase their sales and their liquidity.
Stefanos Koursaris, secretary general of POVEK, said, however that due to the small size of the economy, Cyprus does not reach the level of low prices seen in other countries, even though prices, as he said, this year are pretty good with sales ranging between 20% and 50%.
Koursaris said that Black Friday starts today and as we are entering the Christmas period low prices will continue.
