Important athletic events that are being organized in Cyprus for 2022 will promote Cyprus all over the world and are creating expectations about winter tourism. More specifically, the DP World Tour golf tournament will take place in November and the same month the cycling event L’Etape by Tour de France will also take place. Both events are hosted by the Aphrodite Hills Resort.
The Deputy Ministry of Tourism recorded both these events on a posting on social media since there is the belief that they are important activities and will contribute to establishing Cyprus as a year round destination.
