The annual earnings of the Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus, Chrystalla Georghadji, amounted to €152.000 in 2017 compared to €153.000 in 2016. George Syrichas, Executive Director, earned in 2017 an annual salary of €118.000, while Constantinos Herodotou, Executive Director since March 1, 2017, earned an annual salary of €98.000.
The total amount of employee benefits in 2017 has reached €23.30m as compared to €20.31m in 2016, increasing by €2.98m. Remuneration includes: gross earnings (basic salary, indexation, allowances, overtime) €15.90m, pension benefits – current service cost €4.87m, employers’ Social Insurance contributions and other contributions €2.53m.
