Services and innovation for the social sector

Relevant News

LAPIS, an Erasmus project in which APINTECH participates and which concerns innovation in the social sector, is currently approaching its end.

A distinct spin-off product of this project is a free service for the promotion of the social sector and its services in Cyprus. We will maintain the service within the framework of the company’s social responsibility and we aspire to develop cooperative (co-creative) models with agencies and companies active in the social sector. We, therefore, invite every such organization with activities in Cyprus to take a look at the online service and, upon its interest, contact us to plan the next step.

Although in LAPIS we addressed elderly care, we have here expanded the scope to include innovative services for the elderly, children, immigrants, the disabled, counselling and treatment practitioners, etc. Of course, optional, fee-based services can also be supported (e.g. appointment bookings, etc.) and can result in a potential income for our prospective partners as well.

On this occasion, we would also like to thank the Cyprus Association for Owners of Private Homes for the Elderly and particularly its executives, Mr Loizos Grigoriadis and Mr Filios Savvides as well as the social innovation company Synthesis Ltd. and our friend there Dr George Isaias for the cooperation, advice and provision of information they offered us in connecting with agencies and stakeholders active in social services on Cyprus.

LAPIS has been funded with support from the European Commission.
