Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) trains CFA

Relevant News

Members of CFA Society Cyprus had the opportunity to follow professional presentation, executive presence and story-telling seminars by professional trainers of the UK’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA).

Around 20 of the Society’s members gathered at the Leventis Gallery a few days ago, where prominent RADA trainer Willi Richards presented them with ways to convey their message in a clear and attractive manner, helping to develop their communication skills. The RADA seminar is based on theatrical exercises, which develop skills relating to public presentation and interaction with the audience. The aim of the seminar is to connect thought with voice and speech, to emphasise the influence of communication style on the audience, to broaden the capabilities of the voice, physical movement and the speaker’s visual contact with his/her audience, to associate narrative techniques with the content of a business speech and to generally highlight how speech can make a message more enjoyable and attractive.

Speaker Willi Richards is a senior trainer of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, specialising in training speakers in the private, public and philanthropic sectors, for services, large companies, banks and others, in England and abroad.
