PwC Network member firms in Cyprus, PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd and S.A. EVANGELOU & CO LLC have announced the admission of five new Partners who will take up official duties on July1, 2019.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd announces the admission of Elina Christofides, Zacharias Clerides, Michalis Stavrides and Nicos Stavrou as Partners.
Elina Christofides is a member of PwC since 2010, working in Advisory with a focus on the Financial Services sector. Elina studied Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Cambridge. She also holds a PhD in Quantitative Finance from Imperial College London. She has extensive experience in the Financial Services sector, having previously worked for a number of years for Santander and Deutsche Bank in London.
Zacharias Clerides has been working with PwC since 2008 in International Private Clients, servicing some of the organisation’s biggest client groups. Zacharias has a BSc in Mathematics & Economics from the LSE and he is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA). He used to work in Assurance, Insurance & Investment Management Practice at PwC UK.
Michalis Stavrides has been with PwC for almost 17 years. He has worked in Business Consulting and in Tax Advisory and he is now leading the efforts of PwC Cyprus in Tax Reporting Strategy. Prior to joining PwC he worked with Arthur Andersen in London in Assurance Services – Financial Markets Division. He acquired a BSc in Economics & Accounting from the University of Bristol and he is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA).
Nicos Stavrou is working in Assurance services of PwC Cyprus specialising in the Financial Services sector. He has a BSc in Economics from LSE and an MPhil in Finance from the University of Cambridge. He is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) since 2003.
S.A. EVANGELOU & CO LLC announces the admission of Michael Tsikouris as Partner. Michael Tsikouris has been working for 12 years with the legal firm. He holds an LLB from the University of Bristol and an LLM from the LSE and he is a Member of the Cyprus Bar Association. Michael specialises in Corporate and Commercial Law with particular emphasis on (cross border) mergers and international transactions, on reorganisations of multinational groups of companies and on setting up of joint ventures.
