Young people aged between 25-29, not in employment, education or training currently looking for their next career step are being invited to check out the YENESIS project!

YENESIS is a one of its kind project, aiming at creating employment opportunities for young professionals that are Not in Employment, Education, or Training (NEETs) and live on islands or island nations, with a background relevant to energy and the environment.

The project will focus on the areas of energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, sustainable tourism and sustainable mobility. Entrepreneurial guidance will be provided throughout the project to promote new ideas and start-ups.

Through the YENESIS project participants will have the opportunity to take part in a showcasing expedition on good practices in Norway, participate in an apprenticeship mobility scheme between the beneficiary countries, and work on local sustainability projects, upon return to their home country. Participation in the project is free.

The project is uniquely designed to supply the young professionals with the skills, experience and mentoring needed to enter employment.

The Application form is available on the YENESIS project website (www.yenesis.eu) and Social media accounts. The application deadline is November 10.

YENESIS project benefits from €2.3m grant from Iceland, Lichtenstein, and Norway through EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. The project brings together partners from 8 countries (Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, Estonia and Norway). The Lead Partner of the project is the Cyprus Energy Agency.
