Relevant News

Covid-19 is still here and this means that many of us are staying at home without doing our regular activities, says physical education teacher Vasilis Michael before giving out tips on how to stay active and healthy.

“During these uncertain times, it is more critical than ever to take command of our emotions and attitude and remind people to be as active as possible,” he says.

“Physical Activity benefits body, mind and spirit. By doing on a daily basis 30’ minutes walking or stretching will help to balance weight and enhance flexibility,” he adds.

Additionally, physical activity and exercise reduce the risk of illnesses like heart and lung disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancers and others that are vulnerable to Covid-19.

Last but not least, exercise benefits Mental Health releasing chemicals like endorphins and serotonin that improve the mood.

If you exercise regularly, it can reduce your stress and feelings like loneliness and anxiety.

It also protects people from symptoms of depression and other mental health issues.

This is how you can remaining active during this stressful period:

– Make an Appointment for Personal Training 1-1

– Try to exercise through on line classes

– Dance to Music by your own or your loved ones

– Walk Up and Down the stairs

– Ask for a training programme based on your needs from a certified teacher

Create the conditions and then enjoy the results!

A little exercising time is better than none at all!
