Dangerous heat is forecast for Friday as temperatures are set to rise to 45-46°C inland according to the Meteorological Service’s director Dr. Kleanthis Nicolaides.
The weather will be mainly fine with temperatures set to gradually rise.
It should be noted that the highest temperature to be recorded on the island was August 1, 2010 clocking in at 45.6°C, a record that could well be broken tomorrow.
